Thank you for allowing me to introduce you to Surplus Productivity!
Before starting my own business as a public speaker and economic analyst, I was the Vice President and Senior Fixed Income Strategist for The Royal Bank of Canada. I served in various roles at RBC from 1998 until 2013, always specializing in the fixed income market. I decided to branch out in order to help people achieve their financial dreams and to help the general public gain a better understand of the economy and how they personally can get ahead. We are in an era of Surplus Productivity....An imbalance with too much potential. Can we find the key to unlock it?
“Where do you keep your crystal ball, Winghart?
As early as 2004, I began to write and speak extensively on the overall lack of future inflationary forces in the economy. In conjunction, in 2005, I began to vocalize an opinion that the Federal Reserve was deleveraging the economy (raising rates too high) that would ultimately have a significant detrimental effect on the financial sector of the economy. In 2006, I highlighted the fact that rising gold prices were not an indicator of future inflationary concerns, rather a product of increased speculation and in 2007 I warned investors daily on the growing possibility of a impending liquidity (financial) crisis. For well over a decade, I have been building fixed income strategies based on prognostications that ultimately outperform every major fixed income benchmark index and produce total returns that are above and beyond expectations. When the financial crisis of 2008 hit, I heard from so many dozens of brokers and investors thanking me for keeping them afloat by advising them to avoid the stock market and invest in the bond market. It wasn’t the first time I had been asked “Where do you keep your crystal ball, Paul?”
